So i though this would be an appropriate way to incorporate into a Christmas themed card. I hope everyone enjoys.
Happy holidays happy blogging.

EXPLOSION!! BOX

Well this is my first attempt at making an explosion box. I saw it on Amy's blog at http://www.lovetocrop.com/ now that is an awesome blog! She made a really cool one with a bird house but has directions on a basic model for you to build on. So, I figured I'd start with a basic one and try to grow from there. This I made for some friends of mine that love their cats as much as i do! I didn't decorate the outside because I wanted them to be able to display it anywhere but I will definitely be expanding on this technique! Thanks Amy!!

Sorry for the pictures my craft room is under construction so i have to make due for now but I do wanna keep on bloggin!

I'll Have a Blue Christmas!

Oh OK not really! Christmas is never blue for me but for the http://www.celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/  any occasion blue and white challenge, I thought Christmas. I always have Christmas on the brain as of July 1st I play my Christmas music, and sing along with a smile. This one cut from the Christmas seasonal cartridge has always caught my eye and I knew it would be perfect. Let me know what you think.

I figured I'd stick with the French theme with my sentiment. I stamped it in light blue to keep with the theme.
I used the Christmas seasonal cartridge with the image cut at 4".
The pearl paper is Bazil and the white is Recollections.
The sentiment is Fiskars.
The card base is 4 1/4x4 1/4.
Now head on over to www.celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com and add your project to the mix.

Bunny Fun

This is a card I created for the www.cookingwithcricut.blogspot.com challenge. I bought Kate's ABCs cartridge quite a while ago and this is the first time I have used it! I have to say I love it. I think this bunny is soo cute I thought it was perfect for this challenge. I hope everyone enjoys!

I used Kate's ABCs cartridge and the image is cut at 3".
The solid papers are Bazil I got from Big Lots.
The bling I got in the dollar section of Michaels, love that!
The print paper I believe came from Target it was a scrap so I'm not positive.
The sentiment is from Fiskars. "think big thoughts but relish in the simple pleasures"
I thought this was a very simple basic card, and I love the sentiment.
Now why don't you go over and join in on the bunny fun at www.cookingwithcricut.blogspot.com

Tink-You

This was a card I made to send to all of my daughters birthday goers for attending and the wonderful gifts. The overall theme of the gifts were Tinkerbell so I though I "Tink" them for everything.

I used my Tinkerbell cartridge with my Cricut first and the rest of the design just evolve from there. The paper is actually some i got from Office Max on clearance so I'm not sure of the brand. The ribbon is from Michaels their brand I used my Nestabilities to cut the oval and the scalloped oval. I inked them to match the paper and ribbon and printed the sentiment on my computer. I hope everyone enjoys.
P.S. when i first started I tried to organize my craft room and discarded some of the brand names for my products so if I do not mention it I apologize but I am trying to document it better :)

Robyn over at my pink stamper http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ is having a challenge to become a My Pink Designer!! I know my blog has not been that active but I am definitely getting better and dedication time just to my blog. I have learned that I am happier when I take time to do things for me too! So I am throwing my hat or shall I say card into the challenge with all hopes of being the bestest designer I can be! So here it is.

The pattern paper is from colorbok and the solids are recollections from Michaels.
The pig n friends are from the "Country Life Cartridge".
They are cut with my Gypsy at 1.83'
The stamp I bought at a garage sale so i do not know the company.
The small square with the friendship quote is from the colorbok pad as well.
My house is being tented so as soon as I can get back in i will get the measurements. I thought I had it all together. lol..
Oh Yeah! as you can see my added color is Pink! I was hoping the white didn't count because well its not REALLY a color.
Well good luck to all with the challenge!

**UPDATE**
I finally got let back into my house .. no fun :(
Ok measurements are as follows.
The large brown rectangle that is the base is 10"x6" and folded at  3".
The inserts are 2 3/4" x 5 3/4" for the small with the stars and the larger insert is 5 3/4" x 6 3/4".

The top rectangle is 8 1/4" x 4 " folded at  3 1/4"
The inserts are small orange at 3 3/4 x 3 and the larger stars is at 4 3/4 x 4 1/4.

It's Shaping Up To Be A Good Christmas!

I have been thinking of making this card since I got my Gypsy in November of last year. I just didn't quite have all of the details worked out. Then I was visiting the blog www.celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com and said I have the perfect idea for their Christmas Shape card challenge. It has taken me a while to do it but I think it turned out awesome.

Now I was going to add stickles to the windows to look like snow but I didn't want to over do it. You could hang stockings with your family names or the sentiment. I was also thinking of getting a metal sign that said "Oh the weather outside is frightful" and hang it on the window handles to keep it closed. I definitely have though of a number of ways to alter this. I do however believe for my first of this type of card simple is better. I hope everyone enjoys. Happy July!!
