Fellow bloggers this is a call for help.

As you all can see I have just begun blogging, and well I LOVE IT!! However, i am seeing lots and lots of new things I do not know how to use or what to do when/if I get them. I was hoping some of you could help me out. So, here they are in no particular order, lol, my questions.

1) Please leave me a comment with links to challenges or blogs that you contribute to I really like to take challenges it encourages me to think outside my box and try new thing.

2) What are digital stamps and cut files? How do you use them?

3)  For anyone who does you tube videos, How do you edit the raw video?

4) Also list your one MUST HAVE!! for a Card Making or Scrapbooking supply!

5) How can I (eventually) do a challenge with the box at the bottom for people to add their blogs and pictures to the challenge and not just a comment.

I truly have realized there are some warm helpful people out there so far, so I am sure you all will give me lots of tips, tricks and feedback!! This blogging community rocks!

Cooking With Cricut, Emboss it Challenge

I must say I had never heard of a Cuttlebug until I started surfing you tube for videos to help me with my Cricut. However, I quickly realized that quite a few people used it with beautiful results. So i bought one with a bunch of folders and have to admit I am slightly addicted. Part of the reason I started making cards is because I was not a fan of the one dimensional cards but that was all that was primarily available, so this was an answer (along with POP DOTS) to my problem. I think often cards to say I love you are very, well... pink. Trust me I love pink however most guys don't soooo.. this was my answer to that. Though there is Valentines day to celebrate love I do not believe that is the only time to say it. This is a card to say "I RUFF YOU" anytime. I hope you enjoy.
I used the cricut cartridges Plantin Schoolbook for the heart and Create a Critter for the puppy, the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder for the embossing and my Martha Stewart punch for the trim. Please visit www.cookingwithcricut.blogspot.com to see everyones entries.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #62 "Cup of Cheer"

Well can't we all use one of those now and again, A Cup of Cheer!!! Well, this is my first shape card and I thought, what a good time to try it. It is not exactly what was invisioned however, I think it turned out pretty cool. I don't drink coffee hower have a hankering for tea every so often (ok, ok, ok, everyday!) So I thought I'd share my cup of tea with you. A wise man once said "my cup runneth over", I know it seems silly to say however in these trying times for our country where my cup runeth someone else's is dry, so I have one for me and one to share. I hope you enjoy.

I used my Gypsy to weld the cups and used the flip function so when closed it looks like one, and they are a toatal of 8 inches long or 4 inches when closed. I Used the cup from the Gypsy Wonderings cartridge and my cuttlebug for the embossing. The greeting was printed via my computer "Two for Tea, Tea for Two." I also added a little stickles for some bling!! I just put a spot of glue behind the tags on the bags so they would not hang out the bottom of the card.  Though you could tuck them in and use the pocket for your sentiment. I hope everyone enjoys, I know I am.

PS. Thanks everyone for the great feedback so far, you guys ROCK! I do try to return comments and follow as many as possible. I'll be talking to you all soon :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #61

I have decided to enter the Cricut Card Challenge. I have to say this is a bit of a 360 degree turnabout for me because that is one of three main things I looked for on youtube when starting to get inspiration. I remember saying "WOW I could never come up with something like that", well as they say (not sure still who "they" are:) "Never say Never". I look at my first card I made with my Cricut to what I'm doing now and hope to only get better, it has been a fun and exciting journey.

I used the Create a Critter cartridge for this card and some Stickles for the dots on the letters. I hope you all enjoy! Happy Crafting!

My Pink Stamper BlogHop!!

Well I have been trying to get a post going with some of my creations for a while however my fantastic (sarcasm) computer has not allowed me to do so. So I have to borrow a friends computer, but I am determined this time so I hope I get it right!!

This is a card I made for Valentines day. I actually saw the leopard printed paper and was inspired by it! I actually bought it over two years ago while buying things for my daughters scrap book and forgot about it till I unpacked a box of crafting supplies and there it was (angels singing/halo of light appears). Well the little hampster on the wheel in my brain started going and this is what came out. I hope it inspires everyone!!
I used my gypsy and the Create a Critter and Winter Woodlands cartridges, Recollections cardstock and a little BLING!! The tag i printed on my computer then used my cricut to cut around it using the "center point" button. It says "You are Paw-sitively Purr-fect".I hope you all like it.
